JANUARY 1944 - Project GRIP
RLAC Project GRIP established to study the growing flying disc phenomenon. This highly classified study is spearheaded by Major General Cletus Young, formerly of the Office for Scientific Investigation (OSI).Project GRIPs primary Research Center and related facilities are set up at Roswell Air Corps Station in New Mexico. Other facilities at Alamogordo and Las Cruces.
07 JUL 1944 - Madrid, Spain - Allies Battle Rommel
A Nazi flying disc destroys an RL45 Interdictor with an energy beam weapon.
SEPTEMBER 12 1944 - Photo Recon of Cuba 
An RLAC Pogo snaps images of four Nazi military bases in Cuba. Close scrutinization of the photos reveal disc-like craft staged on airfields. OSI is quickly able to link these bases to the previously Enigma-decoded terms: VorlagenWeg, Zigarre, Banane, and Waffe der Massenzerstörung.

22 APR 1945 - Eyes of Light, White Feather Nation
Report of two metal discs descending from partial cloud cover and stampeding a herd of buffalo. The discs are said to have fired upon the buffalo with "machinegun like devices". 311 buffalo were slaughtered before the discs disappeared into the clouds.
26 APR 1945 - Monett, Missouri
Two Nazi flying discs stage a mock dogfight in the airspace over Monett, Missouri. When one craft takes on damage, bombs are ejected into an empty field. One bomb, high-explosive type, detonates. The other weapon fails. Inspection of the failed bomb by Army officials reveal it to contain a biological toxin similar to anthrax.
27 APR 1945 - The Department of Defense takes action
The RLU DOD, acting upon the advice of Project GRIP Commander Major General Cletus Young, issues a blanket order 445-90 to shoot down or capture any and all detected Nazi flying discs.
28 April 1945 - O'Neill, Nebraska
Three Nazi flying discs terrorize the town of O'Neill. The discs make several strafing runs on the town with machine gun fire. Seven town residents are injured. This is followed by intense bombing of several grain silos. The discs disappear into the south quickly and before the military can be summoned.
15 MAY 1945 - Childress, Republic of Texas
Disc sighting by an elderly couple. 10:30 am: 83 year old Vern Zelig, husband of 81 year old Emma, while sitting on their porch swing, stated that they would never have known anything was amiss unless their cat, Gogetter, had not "raised fur and spat at the sky". What they then noticed was a "thing, round as a penny, hovering right over our trailer. On the bottom side was a glowing Kraut swastika." Vern immediately ran in to the trailer to get his 12-gauge but, when he returned to the porch, the disc was gone. Emma did not see the craft leave. No other information available.
16 MAY 1945 - Clarendon, Republic of Texas
Disc sighting. Probably the same disc as seen earlier over Childress.10:50 am: Clarendon Elementary School. A single disc seen by several dozen 1st and 2nd grade children, four teachers, and the school's vice principal.
16 MAY 1945 - Vernon, Republic of Texas
Disc sighting. Probably the same disc as seen earlier over Clarendon.11:55 am: Several people saw a disc make several circles around a grain silo. It then sped off to the north "with a wooshing sound". No other information available.
16 MAY 1945 - Matador, Republic of Texas
Disc sighting. 9:25 pm: Matador Round Up Drive-In Theater. 133 witnesses claim that the drive-in was buzzed by a "saucer-shaped thing" during a Mortimer Mouse cartoon. Some reported a glowing swastika on the craft's underbelly and others describe an "X shape". At one point the craft came close enough to the ground to partially occlude the projected image on the screen. It then began to rise into the air and slowly drift in the direction of the screen. All visual contact was lost when it then dipped behind the screen. No other information available.
4 through 6 August 1945 - Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico
Local newspapers reported thousands of citizens seeing strange airborne discs darting in and out of clouds over a period of three days. Photographic availability is pending.
30 AUG 1945 - Clearwater, Florida
A tiny write-up on the back page of the Clearwater Bugle reads: "Several golfers saw a 'metallic-looking disc' above the ninth hole of the Crystal Sky Greens today. One man, Edward Acree, banked a ball off the discs' underside. Another man (who had been imbibing) threw his nine-iron at the craft. When his club failed to fall back to the green, he became upset and summoned the police. Seventeen other people, golfers and employees, also saw the strange craft. Prior to the police arriving on scene, the disc moved out of the area at a high rate of speed."
4 SEP 1945 - Lake Okeechobee, Florida
Observers claimed to be abducted by Nazi scientists and subjected to hallucinogenic drugs and sexual torture. None were willing to submit to medical examination or polygraph.

Vague report published in a local newspaper, called the "Six Shooter Siding Gazette", of two discs "fighting one another" over Tucumcari Mountain as sunset approached. Half way into the "battle" a third disc joined the fray. Within minutes noxious black smoke was spewing from all three discs. The objects eventually maneuvered behind the mountain and were not seen again.

Similar incident as reported at Eyes of Light, WFN, on 22 April 1945. Three discs, traveling at tremendous speed, strafing a herd of buffalo with automatic weapons fire. "Several hundred" buffalo were killed. The report says that each disc flew independently of one another (no formation flying) and made multiple strafing runs.
