...know what gives? The blueprints clearly show eight sub-floors and a basement the size of an aircraft hanger. Good old Hopkins failed to mention the basement at the initial meeting. As I recall he sort of hedged on the details of the sub-floors too! Was he afraid CDCC would back out? Here's another oddity: I have heard rumors that the whole place will be demolished by 1945 to become a landfill and then some sort of sports arena. So - again - what gives?

Now don't get me wrong Norm: I'm not saying it can't be done. As a matter of fact the plans you have forwarded to me are fascinating. I have never in my life seen such well thought out and precisely engineered drawings. The physical work will be straight forward and swift - perhaps ninety days. But Norm - how in blazes can it be done in  Absolute Secrecy ?  If I am reading between the lines correctly, the military is involved. Am I right? Can you at least answer that question? And also - who in Hell is funding this monster? Okay - end of rant. Just please answer my questions. One final note: the plans for the exhibit to be placed inside the Perisphere boggle the mind. What a set-up! What was the designer smoking? I don't suppose you could divulge the name of the contract...
