Discovered by Team Beta 14 (Director Jim Hunt, Alex Boyd, SSgt. Richard Levy, Cpl. Suze Malloy, Cpl. DeLapp) while leveling terrain for a glider landing strip in an area 25 kilometers south of Burroughs' Station named Wileys' Meadow.
