Team Beta 14, now consisting of Director Jimmy Hunt, Dr. Howard Chapman, Raj Kumar, SSgt. Richard Levy, Cpl. Suze Malloy, and Cpl. William DeLapp, returned to Wileys' Well in July 1967 with several tons of equipment to perform a proper exploration of the artifact.
