10 APRIL 1945 RLU Gilchrist, Republic of Texas Mr. Trevor Attenborough and his wife Monica took this photo, facing west, as sunset approached. Although not visible in the photo, Mr. Attenborough claimed that Nazi swastikas were visible - painted in black - on the undersides of each craft. Both man and wife estimated the craft to be 30 feet in diameter and that they were traveling "as fast as any airplane we've ever seen." These three craft were later believed to have been seen passing over Monroe City, Dayton Lakes and the San Jacinto Davy Crockett National Park.
